savoy stay was splendid!
helpful staff sorted reservations fantastic view
the staff were unbelievably helpful! ana checked us in. she sorted out reservations at the grill and tea at the foyer. thierry at the grill shared fun stories. our room was super clean. it had a fantastic river view. wow!
The room service breakfast had issues, it was ordered to our room but was cold. some toast tasted stale. A few lemon items were missing. i had to ring room service twice. this took away from the overall quality.

dust accumulation intermittent wi-fi
the breakfast included was satisfactory, it was good value considering the variety available.
my room was not cleaned thoroughly. i found some dust accumulation on the furniture and the bathroom mirror had streaks. furthermore, the in-room wi-fi signal was intermittent, it made conducting business calls difficult.

christmas decorations friendly staff dated rooms small spa
the christmas decorations made the hotel look even more fabulous. the staff are cute and do everything to ensure you feel looked after. zaira in the river restaurant was warm and friendly and made our evening pleasurable.
the rooms are comfortable but slightly dated. the spa felt small and the gym became overcrowded. i thought the food felt basic for a hotel of this standard. the scrambled eggs looked microwaved and the fruit was not fresh.

beautiful room great service very nice breakfast
the room was beautiful and spacious. the turndown service was great when i returned from the theatre, it was all ready for a good night's sleep! breakfast was very nice too, with views of the river.
during christmas eve at the american bar, a couple came in wearing pyjamas and slippers. the christmas day evening meal in the gallery restaurant wasn't great. the fillet in the beef wellington was tough, even with a steak knife.
